The MOVE ME Podcast with Julie Reynolds
I’ve been working in the radio biz over the last decade at the ABC, Triple M, Mix 102.3 and FIVEaa. So its time to do my own thing and as music and talk IS my thing, I’m bringing the stories behind the songs that make you move and the stories surrounding the song and the musician that will ”move you” in a brand new Podcast. Join this weekly podcast as I breathe a little life into some of the favourite interviews people have asked me about with the artists we all know and love, plus I’ll bring you something new when I check in and see what they’re up to now. A happy little mish mash of great stories, good times and groovy music.

EPISODE 3 is another REWIND, back to 2018 when I caught up with one of the best front men to come out of the 90’s…Adam Thompson from Chocolate Starfish. Adam has a reputation for being wild and gives about 1000% on stage…this is true…he is definitely an out there performer.. but this episode will really give you the double meaning of MOVE ME…. Songs like "You’re So Vain" and "4 Letter Word" do make us want to move…but there’s more to Adam and he will definitely move you….we talk about how a family tragedy in his young years has had a lasting effect, how he now uses that to help others from Aboriginal communities to CEO’s of major corporations….. Adam is multi layered and also a rock star and so much fun to listen to…. A born story teller…COVID19 has put gigs on hold, but when they are back again do not miss Adam’s huge solo show BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and of course when the boys of CHOCOLATE STARFISH are back on the road. Can’t wait for gigs again! Check here for all things Adam https://www.facebook.com/adamthompsonofficial Produced by : AUDIOLemonade

I caught up with Diesel in 2018 during his “Give Me Saturday Night Tour” supporting his latest release. “30:The Greatest Hits” a greatest hits album featuring 14 Top 40 Hits. 30 years flew by, with Diesel starting out his career in Perth with Johnny Diesel & The Injectors before heading to the bright lights of Sydney, helped along by former The Angels’ Drummer, Brent Eccles and eventually coming to the attention of Jimmy Barnes. The rest is history. We claim Diesel as our own here in Australia…(because he is…now)….but his life started out on the other side of the globe and there was a point, where he may never have become the Aussie legend that he is today…find out what happened in this week’s episode of “The MOVE ME Podcast”. And don’t forget to check out Diesel’s brand new album, 'Sunset Suburbia' set for release on 28 August, 2020! All the info is up on his website now dieselmusic.com.au. Produced by AUDIOLemonade
